Our client is developing a market leadership position and seeks a talented, energetic and innovative industry professional to speed the process. Reporting to the General Manager, Business Development, you will be involved in a large-scale, substantially-funded sales operation targeting major users of warehousing and freight logistics services, which will include Ports & Train.

Ideally you have tertiary business qualifications ( but not essential ) or have undertaken formal sales training.

Solid experience and success in a sales or business development role within the freight and logistics industry will have provided you with a comprehensive knowledge of the business, its key players and operators and its specialised IT systems, such as MS CRM and Maximas. You also have a clear understanding of B2B online marketing, and experience in using online presence as a direct sales tool. The ability to bring new ideas and approaches to the sales environment and the confidence to ‘pitch’ at senior management levels will be major advantages.
