Our client is a key division of Australia's leading distributor of automatic packaging equipment, related hand tools and consumables. Their marketplace covers a wide variety of industries and in order to service it to the max they operate a highly effective Key Account methodology to retain and build business. To this end, our client's sales, service and engineering divisions interact and co-ordinate closely.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be a key element in this process, working with existing and new customers in a cross-section of industries. As you will be operating mainly from home, you will ensure the efficient functioning of the BDM / Key Account methodology via timely reporting and customer business reviews, supported by equipment presentations and machine and process audits. You will be ably assisted by service and engineering personnel, with whom you will also monitor territory parts and service costs. You will inform customers of new products and price movements, monitor competitor activity, equipment and pricing and assist with trade shows and special promotions as required.

Computer literacy is essential and formal qualifications in selling or marketing are welcome - but a proven sales record demonstrating your successful and professional approach will be key to winning this rewarding role.
