A walk around any supermarket or industry will be enough to demonstrate the importance of innovative thinking in the steel packaging industry, but insiders are well aware that good production planning is every bit as important. The ability to assess and equate demand with production capabilities and come up with a coherent plan of action cannot be rated too highly.

 

In this exciting role you will work closely with the production management team of this prominent organisation to ensure that supply and inventory levels are maintained to agreed guidelines. You will develop and implement end to end Print planning requirements across a schedule of manufacturing activity and maximise resource efficiency while minimising inventory stock-outs. The organisation applies Continuous Improvement philosophies and you will have opportunities to contribute to this on an ongoing basis.

 

You must have solid end to end planning experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment, ideally with CI values and processes Excellent communication. A strong thinker & skilled analyst and problem solver, you have STRONG EXCEL skills & well-developed MS Office skills and a sharp focus on detail and deadline alike. Working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems SAP is preferred.
